“Rankings represent relationships; they are signs of cause and effect. Fritz sees this principle as a quality of appearance when he says: “The sequence creates rhythm, through the even repetition of a shape or color. The possibly irregular change of the colors of the picture panels lined up together causes rhythm and this can lead to a sound or a melody ... ”

“I can trace my roots as an artist back to “modernity” for up to a hundred years. So I could call myself a "conservative". For me, the “modernity“ still has an impact on my life. I not only surround myself with constructive pictures and sculptures, but am also a “design freak”. I like to sit in a “Wassily”, a “Mies” or on chairs from Thonet and Eames. Much of my furniture and appliances are designed by Dieter Rams, I use white dishes and cutlery from Wagenfeld. I feel good in such an environment. It can keep me from getting lost in dreams and avoiding reality.” (Kunibert Fritz)
